I’m always looking for shortcuts to get meals on the table quicker. And of course, not just any meal will do, it needs to be nutritious and delicious.
That’s why I’m loving these Simple Sauté meal kits from Nature's Greens! Their new product line highlights chef-inspired Collard Greens Sauté Kits in three tasty flavors, Sweet & Tangy, Italian Herb & Rotini, and Moroccan Style.
They’re quick, easy, and packed with all the nutrients and flavor you could want. Perfectly prepped, seasoned, and ready to cook, these kits have everything you need to create a restaurant-quality entree or side dish in just 15 minutes
These Simple Sauté kits include a drizzle packet, a universal stock pouch, a flavor pouch, of course, fresh collard greens, and either pasta, rice, or red beans, depending on the individual kit.

As much as I love my greens, I also love my meat. So, I made the Italian Herb & Rotini Collard Greens Simple Sauté’ and then folded in some Italian chicken sausage and some shaved parmesan cheese.
This chicken sausage and greens recipe turned out perfectly… a healthy, hearty pan full of tasty comfort food!

- 1 ¾ cup water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 12 ounces cooked chicken sausage
- 3 ounces shaved parmesan cheese
How to make Rotini Pasta with Collard Greens (and Chicken Sausage):
Let me show you how quick and easy it is to use their sauté kits and create a restaurant-quality meal at home...
Mix the drizzle packet and 2 teaspoons of water in a small bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil and stir. Then set aside.
In a separate bowl, mix 13/4 cup water with the universal stock pouch and flavor pouch. Then set aside.
Add a tablespoon of olive oil to a skillet. Turn the burner to medium-high heat (375 degrees). Add the chicken sausage and cook for 3-5 minutes or until golden. Then set aside.
Heat the same skillet to medium-high heat (400 degrees) and add the shredded collard greens to the hot skillet. Stir continuously for 2-3 minutes until the greens start to wilt.
Add the pasta and cooking sauce from step 2 to the pan and stir well.
Reduce to medium heat (250 degrees), cover the pan, and cook for 5 minutes.
Remove the cover and stir well.
Replace the cover on the pan and cook for 5 more minutes on medium heat (250 degrees).
Remove the lid and fold in the chicken sausage and shaved parmesan.
When the cheese starts to melt transfer the cooked greens mixture to a plate, and drizzle the sauce from step 1 on the greens. Enjoy!
